I spotted your story online National insurance: What will the hike mean for general practice? in the BMJ about the increase in employer NICs introduced recently.

Please note, the Government is providing support for NHS bodies and other public sector employers to cover the increased employer NICs costs. However, this is not the same as an exemption, as these employers do still have to pay employer National Insurance based on the increased rate and reduced threshold.

I’d be grateful if you could amend the information you have previously published to reflect this.
