Temptations Are Everywhere
“Our environment tells us that there’s cheap food aplenty and that we can do a lot of things without moving,” says Lofton. To reduce the temptations that might otherwise derail your weight loss plan, don’t grocery shop on an empty stomach and keep only nutritious foods at home.
Lofton recommends filling up on foods high in protein, fiber, and carbs. Because these foods digest more slowly, they’ll prevent unhealthy food cravings. If you do slip up, don’t use it as an excuse to drop off your weight loss plan. Start back up again the next day.
You Don’t Have Time
Money Is Tight
Gym memberships and diet plans cost money. Instead, try working out at home or take a walk around your neighborhood or the mall. Ask your doctor to recommend a diet plan using foods you already buy.
